PSG have been told they will have to pay £86million if they want to sign Napoli midfielder Allan.
Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted on Friday the club have already turned down an offer from the French giants despite the player pushing for the move.
Ancelotti remained defiant this week by insisting Allan will be staying but it has been reported the club are willing to sell the Brazilian should PSG improve on their initial offer.
Tuttosport claim the two clubs are currently locked in talks with Napoli refusing to budge on their valuation of the player.
Allan is set to be dropped from Napoli’s squad for their Serie A showdown against AC Milan on Saturday evening amid the speculation surrounding his future.
Other reports in Italy claim PSG’s opening gambit for the midfielder was way off Napoli’s demands and estimate the deal was worth around £56m
PSG are still deliberating whether or not to up their offer with the Ligue 1 side keen to strengthen their midfield options.
It has been a problem position for them this season with defender Marquinhos having to play as a makeshift central midfielder on several occasions.
Adrien Rabiot has also been used sparingly with the Frenchman rejecting proposals to extend his deal which expires in the summer.
PSG have already boosted their midfield with the £35m acquisition of Chelsea target Leandro Paredes from Zenit St Petersburg and may opt to wait until the summer to move again for Allan.
