Miley Cyrus responds to pregnancy rumours with some ‘egg-citing’ news

Miley Cyrus has denied she’s pregnant after a flurry of rumours that she and husband Liam Hemsworth are expecting their first child.

Reports in Australian actor Liam’s home country had suggested singer Miley, 25, was pregnant, a month after tying the knot.

A source reportedly told OK! Australia that the couple were expecting a baby girl and would also be relocating Down Under, so that the child could be brought up Down Under.

But Miley used the viral egg meme to tell fans she’s NOT going to be a mum just yet.

Responding to a report on Twitter , she said: “I’m not ‘Egg-xpecting’ but it’s ‘Egg-celent’ to hear everyone is so ‘Happy For Us’ …. we’re happy for us too! ‘Egg-cited’ for this next chapter in our lives…. Now , can everyone leave me alone and go back to staring at an egg.”

The egg she referred to is from an Instagram account, which earlier this week became the most liked post on the social media platform, taking the record from Kylie Jenner .

Miley also posted a picture of herself with an egg superimposed over her stomach.

The happy couple tied the knot in a ‘secret’ ceremony at their home in Franklin, Tennessee, in December. Bride Miley confirmed the nuptials via Instagram, sharing a handful of pictures from their intimate ceremony.

One, showing the pair kissing, was captioned: “This is probably our one – millionth kiss ….”

Miley was a child star, finding fame after appearing as Miley Stewart in Disney TV show Hannah Montana.

The no-baby news maycome as a disappointment to fans, who were getting excited by the news on social media.

One tweeted: “I dont to cry but I am. They came a long way and I couldn’t be happier for them.”

Another fan was excited, posting: “The most gorgeous human being is about to be born.”

There was a word of warning about the birth though, with one cheeky fan reminding Miley: “It comes out like a wreeeeeeeecking ball.”
