walesonline: Le10 Sport claim that Manchester United are keen to bring Idrissa Gueye back to England after just one season at PSG.
The former Everton and Aston Villa holding midfielder moved to the Paris capital for £30m last summer and played 33 times this season.
Yet PSG are said to be open to selling the Senegal international for the right price.
It follows reports that the Old Trafford club have agreed a fee for their biggest summer target, Jadon Sancho.
“We’re going to start with the update on the Borussia Dortmund winger,” transfer expert Ian McGarry said on the Transfer Window podcast.
“We did bring you the news that a contract of five years and wages had been agreed with Manchester United and that it just remained for the Old Trafford club to fix a fee with Borussia Dortmund.
“We can exclusively reveal to you that United have agreed in principle to meet an asking price from Dortmund of €110m.
Liverpool yet to bid on Aissa Mandi
Liverpool are reportedly yet to make a bid for Real Betis defender Aissa Mandi, despite numerous claims to the contrary.
Sport Witness cite ABC Sevilla as stating Betis “have not received to date any formal proposal” for Mandi and there is no negotiation underway for his departure at this present time.
They add that while there has been “a lot of noise” about a potential deal with Liverpool, this has not turned into a “concrete” move just yet.
Despite that, Mandi is a problem the club need to resolve this summer given his contract expires next year.
The club have tried to extend his current deal, but talks broke down when the player, who was dealing with it himself, deemed their offer as “insufficient”.
Gareth Bale suffers latest Real Madrid humilation
Gareth Bale’s status at Real Madrid continues to plummet, after he was left out of the squad for their Champions League showdown with Manchester City.
Los Blancos have announced a 24-man traveling party as they look to overturn a 2-1 deficit at the Etihad, but Zinedine Zidane has not included the Welshman.
Zidane is keen to get rid of Bale, with this latest snub as clear an indication as any. And as Madrid head to Manchester needing to win 2-0, it is the absence of a potential match-winner in Bale that will take the headlines.
While the Wales star was unlikely to start, the fact a man who has scored crucial goals in big games for Madrid isn’t included when sides are allowed 12 players on the bench is something of a surprise.
Instead, his relationship with Zidane has seemingly soured further, with Bale – insistent he’s not leaving despite several outsiders urging him to quit the club – left out in the cold.
Everton ‘confident’ of landing Gabriel
Everton are reportedly confident of signing Gabriel Magalhaes, and are looking to fend off interest from elsewhere in the form of Manchester United.
According to ESPN, Carlo Ancelotti has made defensive reinforcements a priority this summer, and has made the Lille centre-back a top target.
The report goes on to state that Lille would be willing to sell Gabriel should they receive an offer in excess of £25m.
