derbytelegraph: Derby County’s season remains suspended until further notice as Championship clubs await concrete plans to resume action amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The transfer speculation, though, continues to flow ahead of the summer window – if there is to be one.
Here is the latest transfer news and rumours involving the Rams and their rivals…
United prepared to offer Bellingham first-team role
Manchester United are heavily interested in signing Birmingham City youngster Jude Bellingham in the summer and are prepared to offer him a first-team role at Old Trafford.
The 16-year-old has caught United’s eye this season after some impressive performances for the Blues in the Championship.
Despite being so young still, Bellingham is viewed as a remarkable talent and a player capable of challenging for a place in the first-team, according to the Evening Standard.
Bellingham has featured 32 times for the Midlands club and has scored four goals in the process, whilst producing three assists for his team-mates.
Leeds interested in Spurs defender
Leeds United are ready to pursue a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth in the summer, with the Argentine’s future in London very uncertain.
Football Insider report that the Whites are aware of the availability of Foyth, after his agent revealed he would leave Spurs in the summer, recently.
The 22-year-old has featured only eight times in all competitions since José Mourinho was appointed as Spurs boss earlier in the season.
If Leeds are promoted to the Premier League, they will most likely look to add some depth to their squad, especially with the future of on-loan defender Ben White still unclear.
Swansea eye Dutch ‘keeper
Swansea City have entered the race to sign Heerenveen goalkeeper Warner Hahn in the summer, according to Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad.
Hahn’s contract at the Dutch side runs out in the summer and the 27-year-old will be available on a free transfer.
The Swans are keen to bring in a new number one goalkeeper at the end of the season with Freddie Woodman only on loan from Newcastle United.
Turkish side Goztepe are also interested in Hahn, as well as interest from the MLS.
QPR reject £3m bid for Osayi-Samuel
Queens Park Rangers have turned down a £3m bid from Belgian team Club Brugge for forward Bright Osayi-Samuel, according to Sky Sports.
The 22-year-old has scored five goals and assisted eight times so far in the Championship this season for the west London side.
Brugge were hopeful they could persuade Osayi-Samuel to Belgium with the added bonus of Champions’ League football next season.
However, QPR rejected the offer for their forward, who has been at the club since September 2017.
