Keylor Navas has not been happy playing second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois this season at Real Madrid.
The serial Champions League winner has found himself on the bench – and has made repeated claims he’s not happy about that.
Last month Real Madrid appeared to rule out a January move for the Costa Rican, but his latest social media post has done little to quell rumours he’s off.
On his instagram page the keeper has posted a picture of him shaking hands with Real Madrid fans with the caption ‘thanks for everything’.
And now Spanish outlet Sport claim he’s on the way to Arsenal in a £14m deal.
The ‘goodbye’ picture was taken as 8,000 fans came out to watch the squad train at Valdebebas – with many believing it’s his farewell picture.
Under new Madrid boss Santi Solari, Navas has struggled for game time – and didn’t even get minutes in the World Club Championship.
He’s been linked with a move to Arsenal and even linking up with old pal Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus.
The Costa Rican had already started to put feelers out to find a new home and after Gianluigi Buffon’s departure to PSG, Juve are far from sorted at the position with Wojciech Szscesny’s form questioned lately.
Instead of bringing in another high-profile shot-stopper to replace Buffon, they opted for Mattia Perin from Genoa, who is yet to be given a chance to wrestle the No.1 spot away from the Pole.
Corriere di Torino report that the Costa Rican’s team contacted the Italians with a view to a move following the Polish goalkeeper’s shaky start to taking the No.1 spot at the Allianz Stadium.
Even if it’s not Juventus, Navas appears to be on the move this transfer window.
