mirror: Justin Bieber has shared new footage of his wedding day with Hailey Baldwin, and it shows him questioning why he is saying certain vows as he struggles to understand their meaning.
The video is the latest instalment of his documentary series, Seasons, and is entitled ‘The Wedding: Officially Mr. & Mrs. Bieber’.
The wedding on September 30, 2019 at the Montage Palmetto Bluff hotel in South Carolina sees Justin and Hailey joined by the likes of Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who also brought her daughter Stormi.
Singer Usher was also on hand to perform for the newlyweds as the cut the wedding cake, as the footage shows how the reception became a wild party.
In the footage, Justin and Hailey are seen arriving at their wedding rehearsal dinner by boat.
As they arrived, Justin shouts “We’re married,” before clarifying, “Almost. Tomorrow!”
The happy couple were welcomed by Biebs younger brother Jaxon, who was there with a banjo player.
They were lavished with compliments throughout the dinner before the party took to a bus, where Justin and Hailey were urged to kiss by the excited party-goers.
With the video moving onto the wedding day itself, it is seen that Justin’s dad Jeremy saying that he is “proud of you,” when asked his thoughts.
Justin revealed that he proposed to Hailey in the Bahamas and that he surprised her.
He said: “She just walked down the stairs. And I was there with the ring. And I was shaking.
“‘I loved you for so long, and I can’t see myself being with anybody else. I love you so much, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?’ And she was just like,’ Justin then placed his hands over his mouth to show Hailey’s reaction.
As Hailey applied the finishing touches to her gown, she is seen recalling her sister’s wedding and how she got emotional as she felt so lonely at the time.
Hailey said: “I was at my sister’s wedding in 2017 and I remember the wedding was over and I was in my hotel room and I was with my parents, and I just remember I was crying and I couldn’t stop crying because I was really lonely for a really long time.
“Even though I was around people all of the time, I would remember it so many times just going home and crying myself to sleep because I just felt I was going through this journey of, I get to see all these cool places, I travel and I get to experience all these cool things, but I come home at the end of the night and it’s just me.”
Once at the white chapel where they would tie the knot, Hailey is seen being walked down the aisle by her actor father Stephen Baldwin after the guests had cheered when Justin walked in earlier.
As the couple looked lovingly into each other’s eyes, Justin then stumbled over the vows, as he struggled to understand what he was committing to.
The officiator instructed Biebs to repeat: “In token and pledge of our constant faith.”
Justin began saying: “In token and pledge in our…” before asking “In token?”
The officiator then said again: “In token and pledge of our constant faith.”
A confused Justin asked: “In token and pledge?”
“Yes,” the officiator replied.
Justin then began slowly, as the guests began giggling: “In token… and pledge…”
He then cut off and asked: “What does that mean?” as the room broke out into laughter, with his bride Hailey also seeing the funny side.
After the ceremony, Hailey reflected: “Everything happened the exact way it was supposed to, I really believe that!
“Even all the mishaps that might have happened, stumbling over our words, and whatever it was, I think that it was so meant to be.”
A live band played during their romantic reception, which featured moss hanging from the ceiling which glowed under gold and violet lights.
Recalling their big day, Hailey said: “Everybody just danced their faces off.”
Justin added: “The wedding was fire! For me, just being with all the people that I love, and celebrating and just being silly… my favorite part.”
