Justin Bieber hangs out with Pastor Carl after postponing his wedding

Justin Bieber spent time with Pastor Carl Lentz in New York City on Saturday, as he continues to seek treatment for depression.

Reports suggest that Justin is determined to focus on his ‘mental health’ and is receiving treatment after struggling with depression lately. The Baby hit-maker has postponed his wedding to Hailey Baldwin so he can focus on his recovery which has seen him turn to the Hillsong church community and Lentz, his spiritual advisor.

Justin enjoyed a bike ride with Pastor Carl through the city and was dressed down in blue tracksuit bottoms, a red windbreaker coat and navy beanie hat. It seems things are now back on track between him and his pastor, after the pair reportedly fell out in July last year, and Justin has been leaning on the Hillsong church during his recovery.

It’s claimed he has been getting religious counselling from the church, as well as therapy from medical professionals. According to ET, Justin’s wife Hailey had noticed he was displaying signs of depression and ‘knew he needed help’.

A source said: ‘It’s very hard for Hailey to watch him suffer with depression. She’s been nothing but a good support system for him, but she knows she isn’t a professional and steady therapy is exactly what he needs. ‘He’s been sleeping far more than usual and struggles to get out of bed until very late into the morning or early afternoon.’

Insiders told People that Justin who recently opened up about his addiction to Xanax and Hailey have decided to postpone their wedding, so he can ‘work on himself first’ after hitting a ‘rough patch’. The couple are technically already married after tying the knot in a secret courthouse service in September, but have been planning a religious blessing with friends and family.

Justin and Hailey surprised everyone when they announced their engagement in July last year. Since getting wed, they’ve spoken out on life as Mr and Mrs, with Hailey admitting that married life can be ‘really effing hard’.
