foxsports: Heartbroken Brazil striker Gabriel Jesus was left distraught and in tears after being controversially sent off in the Copa America final against Peru at the Maracana.
The tournament hosts led 2-1 midway through the second half when Manchester City star Jesus was shown a second yellow card, having already contributed a goal and assist for Brazil.
The decision appeared harsh and Jesus was visibly fuming as he left the field — booting a water bottle among other sideline objects.
Cameras later showed him sitting on the steps inside the tunnel weeping heavily and still gesturing furiously towards the field.

There was a happy ending for Jesus as he was able to join his teammates on the field at fulltime to celebrate a 3-1 victory and their first Copa America title since 2007.
