thesportreview: FC Barcelona and Juventus are both keen on signing Willian from Chelsea FC next year, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Italian and Spanish champions are keeping a close eye on the Brazilian’s situation at Stamford Bridge as they ponder a move to sign him.
Willian’s current contract at Stamford Bridge is due to expire next summer and he is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal with the Blues.
The 31-year-old has been in particularly good form for Chelsea FC in recent weeks and he has been earning lots of praise for his performances of late.
Willian remains the longest-serving member of the current Blues squad along with Cesar Azpilicueta and Marco van Ginkel.
The Brazil international has scored three goals and made three assists in all competitions for the Blues so far this season and he has been a regular fixture in the first team in recent weeks.
It remains to be seen whether the newspaper speculation about Willian’s future is true, or whether he will look to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge before his current one expires.
If things remain as they are, Willian would be free to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club in January.
