eyes turn to Eriksen but is price too high for Koulibaly

Where there’s a transfer window to be found you will find the name of Barcelona following closely behind. Rarely a week goes by without the La Liga leaders being linked with a top class player.

It appears that’s not changed this time around – but will they makes some moves? Fans hope so but it could mean exits as well. Of course the club have already drawn up a seven-striker shortlist as they look to refresh their attack.

There’s no indication yet that January will be the time when they do that. But there’s plenty of other speculation as Barca look to stay top of the table in Spain. Here’s the pick of the latest speculation….

All eyes on Eriksen
Christian Eriksen’s reported lack of desire to sign his new contract at Tottenham has put Barca on red alert. Eriksen was offered a new contract last month but the Dane has yet to agree to the terms.

The 26-year-old has been one of the Premier League’s most outstanding players in the past three years. Barca are keeping a watchful eye on developments.

Malcom may be off very soo Everton have joined the race for want-away Malcom. The Premier League club are keen but there’s interest from elsewhere for the Nou Camp flop. He is wanted by Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande as well. According to Goal, they have made an offer of €50m to take him to China.

Big cheque needed for Koulibaly
Barcelona have been put on by Napoli’s demands for Kalidou Koulibaly. The Italians says only £107 million will be enough to convince them to part with the defender. The Guardian say the 27-year-old – a reported Barca target – is also interesting Manchester United.
