Carabao Cup Third Round draw

talksport: The Carabao Cup second round will be contested this week with the tournament set for some quick-fire action this month.

Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 lockdown, the EFL Cup will be fast-tracked this season to help ease fixture congestion further down the line.

The second round ties will be completed over the coming days with no replays and then the third round will played next week.

talkSPORT will bring you live coverage of West Ham v Charlton, Leeds v Hull and Brighton v Portsmouth, as well as a host of other ties this week.

The draw for the third round has already been made when the big boys such as Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea enter the competition.

The Premier League champions are set to face either Bradford or Lincoln while United could face a trip to Luton.

Those ties will be confirmed over the coming days as the second round matches reach their conclusion.
