£95m mega deal to replace Fabregas and Morata as Abraham stays

Chelsea are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup and face a battle across four fronts with the Carabao Cup, Europa League and Premier League still to play for.

While hopes of an unexpected title bid under Maurizio Sarri this season may have faded, the Blues still need to fight for a place in the top four in case they do not secure a route to the Champions League next season by other means.

Nottingham Forest were brushed aside at Stamford Bridge by the Blues as Alvaro Morata scored two goals, with Callum Hudson-Odoi supplying the Spaniard with two well-delivered assists to win the third round tie.

Ironic then that the latest Chelsea transfer rumours focus on replacements for the former Juventus and Real Madrid forward.

He looked far from happy as he left the pitch in west London, and while he may have found the back of the net, it was clear he had not found satisfaction from the win over Forest.
